Cuddy´s sister casting
Seems everyone in the Cuddy family wants to meet the good doctor's boyfriend. Wouldn't you? Following news that Candice Bergen will arrive on House in January as Cuddy's mom, Arlene, comes word that actress Paula Marshall has just been cast as Cuddy's sister, Lucinda.
"Cuddy's in a relationship now and the boyfriend's meeting the family," explains executive producer David Shore, who hints at some secrecy involving Lucinda's presence. Paula, a familiar face on TV since the mid '90s, is probably best known for her roles on Gary Unmarried, Californication and Nip/Tuck. She is also expected to arrive in January.
As for as-yet-unseen members of Dr. House's family paying a visit — like Mr. Grumpy's biological father — Shore says "that's something we talk about on a regular basis," but nothing's on the map just yet.
So what do you think of Paula as the TV sister of Lisa Edelstein? Do you see a resemblance?

House also considers adopting Lisa’s daughter
OK so its not really Cuddy related but mention of House adopting Rachel.
Hugh Laurie has admitted that his character in House is emotionally inept.
In the script, House is taken with his colleague Lisa Cuddy, and those feelings put the doctor in an unfamiliar situation.
“House’s capacity for emotional closeness is very limited,” Hugh confessed to British magazine Closer. “But he’s trying.”
House also considers adopting Lisa’s daughter, and Hugh – who has three grown up children of his own back in England - believes that this is a grand statement for a man of that age.
“He’s 51 and thinking of becoming a father to Lisa’s adopted daughter. That’s a big deal for someone who’s set in his ways like House,” Hugh said

SPOILERS from Auselio
Question: A while back you hinted that there would be two breakups this season on House. Were Wilson/Sam one of them? And, if so, can you ID Couple No. 2? —Jacob
Ausiello:
Yes, Wilson/Sam were one of the two. I’m not going to spoil the other
relationship that’s about to crater, but I will say this: I actually
teased that there would be at least two breakups this season. The key
words being at and least.
Question: When does Olivia Wilde return to House? —Joel
Ausiello: I believe her first episode back is 7.18.

House Scoop: Lisa Edelstein on Her Onscreen Romance, Olivia Wilde and More
Today 10:50 AM PST
by Kristin Dos Santos

Talk about one mother of a House party.
Not only did House take home Favorite Television Drama at last night's People's Choice Awards, Hugh Laurie also scored a win, and Lisa Edelstein
won her first major award for her flawless performance as Cuddy on the
hit Fox drama. (Our professional commentary on all that? Woo to the
freaking hoo! And you can quote that.)
To celebrate, we asked Lisa to tackle some burning Q's from fans...
For starters, and clearly much to the delight of all you "Huddy" fans, Lisa says she's been loving acting
out the House and Cuddy romance this season, and hopes it keeps going
strong. "It's been amazing," Lisa told us. "I've certainly had a lot
more to do, and I've loved that...I love working with Hugh, and I've
gotten to do that a lot. I just think it had to happen at some point.
You can't just keep running around in circles. So now we'll move forward
and see what happens from there, but I've really enjoyed the
storyline."
So what about those other femmes fatale at Princeton-Plainsboro? While Olivia Wilde ("Thirteen") has been MIA for much of the season (maybe you caught her most recently in Tron?), Amber Tamblyn
has stepped in to fill the void. "I adore Amber Tamblyn," Lisa says.
"First of all, she's been acting since she was an embryo, and she's very
bright, and she's very together, and she's hilariously funny...Really
confident—a really self-confident young woman. Olivia, too—it's nice to
be around such smart, confident, together young women."
As for the money Q—Will Olivia Wilde ever return as a series
regular?—Lisa says, "I think she's still considered one [a series
regular]. It's just that she's off being a movie star. Bye, Olivia. It
was nice knowing you...She's coming back. She's coming back this year."
As for her big win last night, and the show's sweep, Lisa is about as
grateful as grateful gets. "It's amazing. It's amazing! Because it's
our audience, and I feel appreciated, and in fact I'm not acting in a
vacuum. It's really great to be acknowledged by the people that watch
the show."
If you're a fan, feel free to share further "acknowledgment" in our comments section below.

@LisaEdelstein arrives at the #chefs4seals event – so many great celeb advocates in one place!!
I’m not the hugest fan of her look, have to admit! But I bet she was extremely tired looking at her face. Maybe lots and lots of work? House fans hope so. LOL (Huddy work of course!). I’m hoping more pics to come.
